Lee was probably the hardest working student I knew. He always got great grades. He didn't seem to have too much to say when we were together, but I respected him a lot.

Someone pleast correct this, but I heard he died some years ago in Colorado. He was purportedly a Stake President at the time. That would make sense. Lee was just a fine person.

Lee passed away as a result of brain cancer.  He was a hospital administrator in Carmel, Indiana at the time of his death.  I attended his funeral which was held here in Salt Lake.

Lee was one of the best friends I ever had.  We were competitors, for the same position, on the baseball team, but supported each other in our efforts.  He was my hero when we took the state title in 1965.  He scored the winning run by stealing home plate on a passed ball.  He got to catch that game because of an injury to my shoulder.  I often wonder what the outcome would have been if it had been the other way around.

I visited Lee, at his home, in Indianapolis, a month before he passed away.  He was beginning to deteriorate from his tumor, but we had a great visit.  He had a 1965 Corvette Stingray, which he had had refurbished.  We had the pleasure of cruising the streets of Indianapolis for a while, and just sharing experiences and friendship.  This totally drained his enery, but he was happy and excited to be alive and share in this small endeavor to bring a note of happiness to him.  This was the last time I saw him.

Someone posted Lee didn't say much.  The Lee I remember always had something to say to make everyone laugh.  He was a master of the "pun".  I think he invented the "Does your?" Game.
example:  does your Headlight?  Does your Taillight? Does your Earring?  We had to be careful some were a bit crass even for the 60's.  Does your Bumper?  Does your Mustard?  and on and on laughing all the way.  Lee's game. Look him up in the Yearbook.  Remember him😊
